It's the USC Song Girls from a couple years ago.

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Uhhhhh, NEXT!
We don't need this post-2000 nonsense. Let's get back to the Oregon cheerleaders.
There are only three girls in this picture that could be considered attractive:
1) Brunette on the top row, second from left.
2) Blonde on the top row, second from right.
3) Blonde on the bottom row, second from right. Most adorable girl of the lot.
The rest are "aesthetically-challenged." 3 out of 11 pretty girls? Not exactly Tricia Pillsbury levels now, is it?
Agreed, only three cute girls in that picture. The little blonde girl on the bottom right is precious. Compare this to the 1970s-1990s squads where EVERY girl was beautiful, not just a small handful.
I will respect Scott's wishes and not make any derogatory comments about the physical appearances of the other Song Girls in this picture.
I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Fight On!
I guess this is not going to end. These girls are cute enough, they are not movie star material, but they are simply college song girls. Give them a break. I bet most of the men who attack their looks on this blog are probably 6s and 7s themselves!
I agree. I only see about 2 girls who can be conisdered pretty.
But here's the thing:
WAY TOO MUCH MAKEUP!!!!!! Way, way, way, way TOO MUCH! And it just makes them look old. Half of these girls look like they're at least 35 years old. It's not helping their cause. You can't hide behind the make-up. They must use gallons of lipstick each game.
Certainly, not on Ms. Pillsbury's league.
No one ever said that there were no pretty Song Girls anymore; only that there were about two or three pretty girls each year since 2000 or so. Up until 1997/1998, every single girl on the squad was beautiful or very pretty. There were no weak links.
In this picture, as others have stated, there are three girls that would be considered pretty, with the cutest one being the blonde second from the right in the bottom row.
There are girls on this squad who most certainly do not have "The Look" that Dolly Zachary Rouse referred to as a prerequisite for being a Song Girl. There are a couple in the Sonia Braga mold that she was adamantly opposed to. That's political correctness, I suppose.
Overall, having three cute girls out of a squad of 11 is not going to get us on the same level playing field as the Oregon cheerleaders or UCLA Dance Team. There is no excuse not to have every girl on the squad be beautiful.
Fight On!
Not sure why some of you are saying that there are three pretty girls in this picture, since I only see two. Yes, the blond girl in the front row second from right is the best one by far. Very wholesome All-American look. She could be a Song Girl and there would be no issue with that. The others are so far removed from the Tricia Pillsbury model of the USC Song Girl, it's frightening.
Actually, I like four girls: the blonde on the left (Lara ), the blonde on the lower right (Kim), the brunette on the lower right (Teni) and the coach's daughter, the infamous Rose Bowl Song Girl Natalie Nelson.
The 2006 Squad definitely is a cut above the current squad, but pales in comparison to the current UCLA Dance Team.

Actually, I'm only a '5' and most of that due to my personality.
Sorry, the last post should have read:

you guys are killing me with this. Only 2 pretty girls? are you kidding me? I wish you guys would just go away so we can talk sports again on this blog. you sound so ignorant it is impossible to take any of this seriously. do you really care that much about a song girl? isn't there some song girl blog you guys can go to? could you start one and go there if there isn't? I am so tired of seeing this stuff everyday. SW give it a rest already. freedom of speech schmeedom of speech, it is ridiculous to keep judging these girls in this way. they are all attractive. even if this were a serious topic, you just trivialize it with the ignorant "only 2 are pretty" stuff. It's not a beauty contest and who gives a s@#t if boregan has "pillsbury-rated" song girls. please, I bet your wives/girlfiends didn't get this kind of scrutiny or obviously give it to you. grow up. I hope you all have daughters one day so you can see what it's like for some idiot to call her ugly. karma. fight on.
What is this? If we want to look at hot USC girls, put up Dance Force 2004 and 2005. If not lets stick to Oregon.
Reminds me of that line from "Fast Times At Ridgemont High"...........They go to school here? I thought they just flew in for games.
Hey SECTION 12 ROW 52,
Don't go Brad Hamilton on us!
If you were not being harsh you would say 4 or 5 are fine, a couple more might work for a lot of people; but the four, well, different looking girls (couldn't think of a better euphemism) blow everything. I'm not singling anyone out but a lot of commenters basically said what I was thinking.
If I had a daughter who was exceptionally beautiful who wanted to be a part of the Song Girls, I would want her to be given a fair chance to become a part of the squad. I wouldn't want her to not be chosen because I simply don't donate $30K per year to the school, or that she didn't go to high school with the team captain, or that she didn't grow up in Palos Verdes Estates where many of them are from, or for any other stupid, corrupt reason.
The Song Girls have always been admired for their looks. It should've stayed that way this decade. I don't think we admire them for their connections.
It's Obvious that having great looks and hard bodies is no longer a requirement for be a song girl at U.S.C. It is what it is! It took years for the USC football team to be rebuilt, and obviously it's gonna take years for the S.C. Dance team to be rebuilt. Thank God there are no National Rankings for Dance Teams, or else UCLA would be a dynasty at the level they're producing their Dance Teams year-after-year.
Since Pete can't go out on the road anymore in the Spring. Maybe he can spend his extra time helping rebuild the song girls.
From the colors I first thought it was the Oregon Song Girls until I looked closer and spied the double chins and hawk noses hidden underneath 2" of stage makeup...then I knew it had to be a post 2000 SC squad.
Wow, this is really getting old.
I gotta say, the makeup is really just too much. It makes them look even worse. Does anyone know if they're getting some sort of sponsorship from MAC cosmetics or something and they're being forced to use all that gunk?
WOW THE BEST
