Rave On

Here's a story you won't find on usctrojans.com.
``Two people were arrested and paramedics transported at least 11 people to area hospitals following a rave-style concert and carnival at the Los Angeles Coliseum Saturday night, authorities said.
``A lot of these people are doing ecstasy," said Los Angeles police Sgt. Adrian Moody of the Southwest station.''

Will they clear up all the ecstasy in time for the season-opener against Ohio State?

What does this story have to do with SC football?

SC football or ANYTHING??? The coliseum holds events and some people at a rock (or whatever) concert were got high and the authorities had to clean it up and stop kids from getting themselves into trouble... NOTHING to do with SC (we don't own the stadium unfortunately, SC football, SC academics, or anything.

Is Scott going to start posting random articles from the paper about incidents in metro area saying "This is going to affect the season opener"? Oh, he already has.

I want to say, "Scott, you're better'n that." I want to...

Hey Scott,
I hope there is some ecstacy left...

Scott, let me get this straight for you. USC is only a TENANT at the Coliseum. The Coliseum is the LANDLORD. The LANDLORD schedules events such as a "rave-style concert." Even the LANDLORD isn't responsible for distributing or forcibly making concert participants take ecstacy. USC = NO CONNECTION TO RAVE STYLE CONCERT.

For the eloquently stated comments of course

Sure this has nothing to do with SC. Sure I would much rather be talking about an interesting tidbit related to football, which are pretty rare in this arena. But, you have to admit that Scott is doing what a guy running a blog should do, provide something that bored SC fans at work can comment on.

If nothing else, this thread is justified by miguelito's comment on e wright. Nice one.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
