florida has a respectable non-conference, except for the citadel. the rest of the conference's ooc games are ridiculous.
The sad thing is dweebs consider them the best conf.??
LSU has four wins before they play a conference game. If they are totally less than average they split and go 4-4 in conf. and finish in the Top 25 at 8-4
And that is freakin' LSU!
The others are worse!
It is a schedule derived to make money as their league gets more Bowl games. This brings in top recruits. The revenue helps them to get the Big money Coaches. i.e. Saban
Conference Championship is a total joke as it only garners additional revenue with meaningless results.
The Pac 10 plays everyone in the conf. and at the end everyone knows who the top teams are.
But for money and corruption you sure can't help but make the SEC No.1
What a complete farce! LSU's media guide should arrive with a box of creampuffs! 4 non-conference gimmes, what a complete joke and repudiation of the spirit of competition. AND, they have 8 home games to only 4 away! There should be a rule that you have to at least play 5 on the road to qualify for the BCS. The Bayou Bengals are cajun pussycats. In fairness, kudos to Florida for playing a real schedule. They get some respect in my book.
