USC minus-20
The line is currently 20 points for the USC-Virginia game. That's little movement from when we first saw a point spread on the game.

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

20 points on the road. That means if SC were playing Virginia at home Troy would be a 26-point favorite. Guess I won't be going back there after all if the experts think it is a wipeout-type game. Besides, Virginia in October sounds better than in August (humidity & heat!).
Take the money you would've spent on airare, and give the points.
Pete Carroll with all summer to prepare for a mid-level ACC program without its starting quarterback and three offensive linemen from 2007, not to mention, the No. 2 overall pick in the draft at defensive end, means USC by more than three touchdowns.
UVA should be way, way down this year. SHOULD BE. I have been reading so much about how bad they are supposed to be this year that Murphy's Law may kick-in for us with UVA playing inspired and our first-timers struggling. But, yeah, on paper this should be a blow-out. We are going just because I've heard UVA is one of the most scenic campuses in the country, and we can spend Labor Day in NYC. Trojans in DC, here we come!
If anyone out there has 2 tickets to the UVA game but won't be going, I'd be happy to purchase them! Send an e-mail to telliot647 at gmail dot com.
Thanks!
