this frenzy over an unproven QB-who has not played well in any of the 3 games he started last year- really astounds me.
The "familiar someone" sounds like the same familiar someone who made the first report which sounds just as reasonable as it did then. Hopefully Mark Sanchez will recover fully and quickly, but if not then we are lucky to have great coaches, great recruiting, and great players like Aaron Corp and Mitch Mustain to step in and step up.
I agree with just4sc....Although I hope Mark's recovery is swift, I was not highly impressed with his play last year. Personally, I have believed, since spring, that Aaron Corp would eventually emerge as the starter. Where he may lack in strength, he makes up in having a good head for the game and displays the Matt Leinert intangables that can pull 'rabbit's out of hats' when necessary. He showed some of this in the spring scrimmage, at the coliseum and out played the other Q's. Given the opportunity he will emerge as a true 'Gamer'!
Well, at least we aren't suffering UCLA's bad injury luck at QB. Looking at them, things look downright rosy for our injury picture. They will be lucky to win 4 games this year.
