Answer Tuesday, Part II

| | Comments (1) |

More questions and more answers, brought to you by the NFL Network, proud broadcaster of a league where Lane Kiffin can intercept three Matt Leinart passes and still lose 24-0.

Q: What do you think the odds are that the Reggie Bush case ever goes to trial?

A: It will eventually go to trial once Bush's lawyers' delaying tactics run their course.

Q: Will Busted Coverage, one of the greatest "promoters" of the USC Song Girls on the internet, will be attending the tryouts for the next squad in October?

A: One can only hope.

Q: How do you think the defense will do against the spread this year? I know SC performed well against Illinois, but this offense has caused SC (and everyone else) problems.

A: It all depends with how effective the quarterback really is. Mobile quarterbacks have given USC quarterbacks problems since 2001.

Q: Any updates on the athletic dept.'s hilarious COUNTER ACTION, a desperate attempt to save face? Why are they so blind in seeing that the main culprits for Song Girlgate are the people in charge who have systematically chosen girls who are unattractive and act tacky in public? The athletic dept.'s lack of self-awareness is baffling. They should just make sure the squad chooses attractive girls, eliminate corruption and nepotism and this problem will be all over. But alas, not only have they been in denial, but they seem intent on continuining a new tradition this decade of aesthetically-challenged and salacious-inclined Song Girls.

A: Since training camp started, one member of the dept. has acted in a childish manner as a direct follow-up to my refusal to delete reader comments. But I have not heard more since a very, very high-ranking employee mentioned the counter action. I guess we'll have to wait and see about it.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
