Answer Wednesday, Part IV

A question about the basketball schedule here.

Q: The 2008 football recruiting class were already dissapointment for USC for its low ranking with no quarteback, five star big name recruits like befor eand no offense playmakers compare to USC 's standard. The problem for many was misses on star players and decommits. Now with Campbell and Simmons not coming to USC and Perry and McNeal still awaiting to enter, how is this 2008 class compared with other USC recruiting classes in the Pete Carroll era? Is it already the worst.

A: Actually, it's too early to tell. But so far, some of the freshmen look pretty good, like Malik Jackson and Jurrell Casey and Matt Kalil. Ask me again in two weeks.

Q: Can you post the USC Men's Basketball Schedule for next year and roster. What is your starting five for the team with Johnson leaving?

A: I wish I could but USC sports information is historically the slowest at posting its basketball schedule, since it is a sport that historically the office is not interested in. A little sport called men's basketball. I'm still waiting for an Angelo Johnson update.
Here's my starting five: Demar DeRozan, Daniel Hackett, Dwight Lewis, Taj Gibson, Leonard Washington.

What's up with Perry?

How long could it possibly take to prove that you graduated high school???

Is the dude at least in Los Angeles? His numbers in high school were sick, and Pete seemed to be really high on him.

I don't think it's fair to say this past class is a disappointment. Pete recruited for positions he needed. They're just not glamour positions.

Yeah, ridiculously uninformed opinion to say this was a weak class. If you count Mustain gaining eligibility, this class was stellar and filled needs, except LB. No one cares about hoops right now, but Scott's starting rotation is a Top 10 worthy, Elite 8 potential top 5.
