Answerfest

Q: What is the status of Brandon Carswell? I remember reading how well he had played on the scout team last year and how he was a candidate to not redshirt last year because he ran great routes and caught everything thrown to him. Now, I don't hear a peep (with the exception of the TD pass in the first scrimmage).
Is he a guy who might get a little PT this year? He strikes me as kind of a Steve Smith guy. (great production and intangibles from a person you wouldn't suspect)

A: Carswell's shown potential but the problem is there are so many receivers that it is difficult to get quality reps or even chances in the scrimmages. All of the top six receivers are more experienced than Carswell and have seen game action. But once the season starts, if their are injuries, he might get a chance.
