Byers Illness
Starting guard Jeff Byers is out with an enlarged spleen.
``I've been sick for a couple of weeks,'' Byers said. ``I really feel like I am letting the guys down. They're not sure what I have. I'm looking to come back by the weekend or the start of next week.''
Byers said his spleen shrank 1.5 centimeters on Wednesday.
I hope Jeff takes care of himself. Contact sports can severely aggravate the condition.
