Captain Cushing?

More than anything else, linebacker Brian Cushing needs a healthy season.
He also wants to be elected a team captain this week.
``Absolutely, I'd like to do it and I'd appreciate it,'' Cushing said. ``I feel I'm a leader on the team.''

Cush (The Bulldog from Bergen) is a natural leader and I hope they elect him to be captain. He has had a rough go of it with injuries but they are not a sign of a lack of toughness. He has played hurt and played well.
I think for the first coin toss at U.Va they should have the entire defense walk out as captains. That defense is what is going to lead this team as far as it can go.
