Crash And Burn

With 90,000 fans filling the Coliseum, how does USC crash out of ESPN's Helmet Clash with a first-round loss to South Florida? South Florida? Really? In the first round? Was Tim Floyd coaching?
A program that started when Paul Hackett coached USC vs. a program with more than 100 years of tradition. And it's not even close.

What do Tim Floyd and 100 years of tradition have to do with a battle of helmets? Nothing. Yet Scott Wolf desperately tries to add them to the equation. Wreaks of weakness in reporting....even for the blog world.
Because SC fans have better things to do than vote in stupid online polls but if you're a USF fan, what else are you going to do for your program to get recognized? Heck, USF isn't even a BCS school right Scott...
Do your homework Scott, it's because the voting is one day during College Football Live which airs around noon. Now how many people in So Cal are working at this time in LA v South Florida? I'll also take it as a compliment because it just shows how many people hate 'SC. If you watched the clip Reece Davis went off saying how on earth could USF beat 'SC in this voting.
But I regress, the voting was as pointless as your cheerleader posts. For the record, your insults on our cheerleaders is tasteless. But then again what else would I expect from a tabloid writer?
Do. Not. Care.
Good point LambdaChiTrojan. I TIVO this show and watch it later with no chance to vote.
Scott don't be such a fool. No one on the west coast watches that program live.
Picking the prettiest helmets is how the office receptionist ends up winning the weekly football pool..
That show is terrible television anyway
Bruce said it best.
It's the same reason Los Angeles - even with USC Football, the Lakers, the Dodgers, et al - won't be voted Title Town USA. There's no sense of urgency to prove ourselves in some contrived competition.
Hell, I didn't even know they were voting on this on. Like Sam Gilbert said "Do Not Care". Fight On!
I agree with darn near every comment hear, but Troyjan&Tonic's comment is hilarious.
*here
Scott:
It's nice to see you pry yourself away from the breaking Song Girl Q&As to comment on an Internet poll that was conducted early last week.
By the way, the football program at South Florida (still a BCS school) began in 1997, when Robinson was the USC coach, not Paul Hackett... but you'd actually have to know about college football, or even USC football, to know that.
Your faux outrage on this matter is hilarious. You even got a Tim Floyd dig in there...
The show runs in the middle of the day and the voting is live. USC stands no chance. Oregon also went down to A&M.
Guys, cut the S-man some slack. The poor sap pulled his hair out agonizing over this catastrophic loss.
Wait, his hair was already gone? Nevermind.
I'm still trying to figure out what the hell their logo is supposed to be.
