Mad Man
We got to the bottom of Everson Griffen's unhappiness Wednesday. Griffen had to meet with USC coach Pete Carroll and defensive coordinator Nick Holt that day because they were concerned he missed several practices with a hamstring injury and rash.
Griffen was upset they questioned his injuries. He returned to practice Wednesday afternoon but did not finish. He did complete Thursday's practice and appeared OK.
The backstory is that Griffen's sometimes been accused of being too cocky by the coaching staff and some teammates.
Griffen, one of the top 10-rated players in the nation in 2007, is currently splitting time with converted linebacker Clay Matthews at defensive end.

Suck it up, EG. You do seem to be a bit of a pompous, pampered, egomaniac. But, your a killer when the gun sounds, so Fight On...against the other team, not your own team.
