``He is a high character guy that shows up every day and was able to get better. When a player and a position coach find that kind of chemistry it is great. They know what buttons to push and they opened each others hearts up and got it done.
``I would put Emmanuel real close to great. He is a completely different player than he was last spring and he is ready to go out there and play college football. It's been a while.''
