One of our readers showed me a Charles White autograph he obtained at the Salute to Troy for a mere $10. I told him that's a bargain by Anthony Davis standards, who was also in attendance.

What's wrong with that? I heard some ex-UCLA football players were PAYING people $10 each the other day on the Westwood campus if they would let the former Bruins autograph something for them! I bet at least one fan got 10 autographs, then took the 100 bucks and went straight to Neuheisel's office to get a spot in the Beijing Olympics Fantasy League.

At Salute To Troy I asked Anthony Davis to autograph a poster from the 1973 Rose Bowl and he refused. He said he would sign anything but this. He had some sort of a deal not to sign this specific poster and was very nice in his refusal. At least he didn't have a bodyguard like Leinart and Bush to push me away and say no autographs.

Saw Anthony Davis at the SC scrimmage last week signing an autograph - no charge involved.
