Here's one cheerleader tryout with at least some transparency.

Picture 12 (girl on the left) and 13 (she's Persian) are former Song Girls. You can't mistake that application of make-up.

I'd be curious to see how these girls do as the Laker girls aren't known for corruption and nepotism. They won't have an insider track.

The girl in Picture 13 is Armenian, not Persian.

The Donkey wonders what makes Scott look at a group of girls in skimpy outfits and think of transparency....well, he doesn't wonder, he suspects...he's almost certain he knows why...after all when Scott speaks, it reminds him of the characters from that show for "the straight guy."

The Donkey (yes he can refer to himself in the third person, if Scott can call himself a journalist) what deep seated resentment anony4321 holds that he feels the need to point out ethnicity in a line up for cheerleader tryouts?

None of the former USC Song Girls who tried out for the 2008-09 Laker Girls made it past the first round of auditions.

I can also confirm that the two ex-Song Girls in those pictures, Jacquelyn Umof and Anasheh Abramiyan, were both cut after the very first round of Laker Girl auditions.

I guess it's not so easy to make a professionally-run squad where there are actual pretty girls competing against you and the coach is not interested in picking ugly girls so that her own daughter would stand out in comparison.

Welcome to the real world, girls.

My apologies. I was trying to point her out and I read somewhere on this board that she's Persian.

In any case, their lack of connections in this audition process caught up to them.

All jokes aside, what does Wolf mean by "transparency?"

That's the problem with neopotism- soon or later you move into the real world and have to face reality.

who made the first cut on which Laker Girl will have an affair with a player on the team?
