Remember Moody?
Former USC tailback Emmanuel Moody is competing for playing time at Florida right now. He spoke today about the difference between Gainesville, Fla., and Los Angeles.
``Gainesville is much more of a football town than L.A.,'' Moody said. ``If we lose here, people get upset for days. In L.A., there are so many more things to do to take people's minds off of that loss. Gainesville lives and dies by what happens on Saturdays, so there is a lot more pressure to perform well here."

Rainey and Harvin will take a majority of the rushing touches, and with Tebow running and passing, Moody will be lucky to touch the ball 5+ times a game.
Too bad, he'd likely be the featured back if he stayed.
Moody... He must be a backup dwarf, no? The starting 7 are Sneezy, Sleepy, Dopey, Doc, Happy, Bashful, and Grumpy. I wonder if the backup dwarfs are different in Orlando and Anaheim.
The Trojans don't need guys on the team that are not willing to go through adversity, whether it be heated competition at the position or injurys causing setbacks for any given running back (Moody).
Conversely, the Trojans need guys who will not quit no matter what the TB rotation is. Case in point: Hershal Dennis and Stephon Johnson.
The guy does know what he is talking about regarding small towns loving/hating their college teams. It is the biggest thing in town (only thing?) so there is a lot more emphasis and unity with the fans. But when the team loses the fans act like fans everywhere else-- they hate it and let you know. And there is no place for a player to hide.
That's it Emmanuel, talk it up big time. Pressure to win, well you apparently couldn't the handle the pressure of a "quote" city and program that is "laid-back", and takes losing likes its nothing. So are you go to cave in to the pressure when you don't touch the ball 10 times a game. Are you going to cry and transfer as all of those "FANS" are raving about Tebow and Harvin, and forget who you are. That a boy Emmanuel. That's alright, you would only be 10th on depth chart had to stayed at the "laid-back, don't care losing" school. Fight On!
I kind of hope he does well. I thought he was a good kid. With all the money available in the NFL, I can understand wanted to go to a program where you are more likely to get some PT. It would be kind of embarrassing for a star SC recruit to flop in the SEC.
How do you spell Brooker? Moody. Good luck.
With all the players Florida has right now that can carry the ball, it seems like such an odd choice of schools.
Best of luck to him.
