Griese, a nice guy, but a man who has never seen a verb that cannot get caught in the roof of his mouth, and Maguire, a person who thinks he is the Second Coming of Johnny Carson.
I generally turn the sound off for games. Do we really need somebody describing what we are seeing?

Hey LJ:
Do you at least listen to the radio while watching the games? I would find it difficult to watch a game with no sound. It's like watching a movie with dialogue, but without the soundtrack. Don't you miss the ambience: The crowd noise, a ref's explanation of a penalty, or the pop heard when Rey-Rey crushes a certain fUCLA QB? Also, there are times an analyst might provide some useful insight. (The late Hank Stram was great at predicting the upcoming play.)
This group may be ABC's "A-Team," but only because Keith Jackson retired. Whoa, Nellie! Three people in the booth is one too many (or two too many in the case of Vin Scully).
Fight On! Beat the Cavs!

Yes, uscmike, it is the crowd noise that I miss the most. And I will turn on the sound when there is a big play coming up just to hear that crowd. I live for crowds. And I will listen to Petros, he is one of a kind.

Griese and Nessler are the fools who called our Orange Bowl 2005 game. They both picked the Sooners and Griese at one point called us UCLA. The only thing I enjoyed more than watching our team prevail was listening to those two idiots in the booth eat crow along with Oklahoma.
This is like the C or D team. Wolfie is joking. Herbstreit is on the A team.

Actually, I really like Griese and Nessler, and Maguire is funny in his goofy, self-deprecating way. The guy I ABSOLUTELY cannot stand is Tim Brant. Arrogant, know-it-all, abrasive a-hole who jumps the call and is wrong 50% of the time. I have never heard a sports announcer with stronger opinions that I frequently disagree with more than this clown. He tries to be the center of the show. Griese and Nessler are likable and harmless. They don't get in the way of the game like many...e.g., Brant.
Are you being faceitious or is that really their "A" team? Ugh!!!
Erin Andrews?
