About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

I thought that since Sanchez was so much bigger than Booty we wouldn't have to worry about defensive lineman tipping and/or intercepting balls?
Sorry. I couldn't resist. I think we are looking at a great year for Sanchez though.
It wasn't a tip. It was a great play- he peeled off the running back and got out to get the ball on what would have been a short passing play. I heard so much hype about Simmons athleticism but I guess it's some truth to it. Sanchez tried to freeze him by making a little pump but Simmons obviously knows the offensive play book already.
The Ellison play was also athletic and he played off enough to bait Sanchez but it was a somewhat risky throw with too much air.
Sanchez isn't that much bigger than JDB, he just releases a bit higher and finds better lanes usually. Or it could have been partly that the the line wasn't providing as many lanes? Dunno.
I don't care how many he trows in practice, just don't throw them in the game
