Augie Garrido put CS Fullerton baseball on the map, so I will always be grateful. However, since getting the Texas job he has become the Bob Knight of college baseball to some degree. When CSUF defeated the Garrido-led Longhorns in the CWS a few years back, he was a complete poor sport. His team did not even participate in the traditional handshake after the game.

USC knows Garrido because he was the original architect of a Titan baseball program that has owned
the Trojans and West Coast baseball the last 20 years.

Would Mack Brown and Texas let Tim Floyd watch a Horns' practice? Forget Chad Kreuter, who would even care?
