Every question gets answered today!

Q:What USC draftees and free agents made the final NFL rosters?

A: All 10 players who were drafted made their NFL teams. Among free agents, Drew Radovich made the Minnesota Vikings while Matt Spanos was cut by the Miami Dolphins. Will Collins, Desmond Reed and Dale Thompson did not make NFL teams.

Q: It's been reported that USC commits Randall Carroll, Kevin Graf, Morrell Presley and Matt Barkley were alll at the UCLA/Tenn. game. Are these all strong commits or should the Trojans be worried about losing them to UCLA or another school?

A: I've said from Day 1 that Randall Carroll is a shaky commit. Morell Presley is being recruited hard by UCLA and they believe they have a chance. Kevin Graf would never go anywhere else. Matt Barkley is also solid.

Q: The Song Girls will soon have their debut this year at the Coliseum embodying all that is corrupt and nepotistic. How far is the squad truly from making changes to make the squad more fair and more reminiscent of the old Glory Days Song Girls? The athletic dept. seem to be just as intent on keeping the way things are which is infuriating as the sidelines have been an embarrassment, as well as their off-the-field antics.

A: We're about a month away from the tryouts. If you want change, I'd recommend attending. There's definitely more heat regarding the tryouts due to the outcry on this blog but the good-old boys on the selection committee remain resistant, from what I hear from people within the dept.

Q: When will you stop wasting space on the songleader crap? Football started bucko, no need for fluff and filler any more... can we talk x's and o's? Puhleez?

A: The readers will decide when we stop talking about it.

Q: When Norm Chow was the offensive coordinator, much was made in the media about how simple the offensive system was. Under Sark (and Kiffin) we hear how complex it is and how long it takes to learn it from the QB perspective. (Sanchez 3 yrs...Mustain 2 and counting etc.) What makes the system under Sark so complex? It seems its the same system, just maybe called a little differently.

A: This is a little bit of a dilemma because a couple years ago some defensive coordinators said USC ran about six plays. I asked the players and they agreed. That said, Norm Chow runs a system that emphasizes quick and easy decisions. That is not the favored approach of the Kiffin/Sarkisian system, which requires more time for plays to develop.

I wonder how many other football beat writers around the country spend as much times as Wolfie concerning themselves with the school's cheerleaders. It's a little creepy. No, it's a lot creepy.

This week, there's been a lot of exposure on how much Song Girls cost, etc. Clearly, there's money to be made and charged. The Song Girl squad should be about having beautiful girls representing the school proudly. It shouldn't be about a money-making clique who are trying to pass on these lucrative spots to other girls they know.

I give Scott props for not censoring his readers. There's plenty of space here for everyone to ask whatever they want on whatever topic.

Thanks for the insight on the recruits at the UCLA game, I'd have guessed Barkley would be shaky along with Carroll for some reason.

The comparisons of the Chow and Sark/Kif offenses was interesting as well.
