USC is now giving away seats in the pressbox. Here's your chance to sit in the highest seats in the Coliseum!

Q: Updates regarding the current activities of former Song Girl extraordinaire Tricia Pillsbury have been non-existent so is it possible for you to catch up with her at this year's Homecoming and provide an update for your curious readers?

A: If she is there, we will speak to her.

Q: This month's Playboy Playmate and cover girl, Kelly Carrington, said in a Sports Illustrated interview that she is considering transferring from Florida to USC. Is there any talk that she could try out for the Song Girls or is she considered far too attractive and thin for the squads of this decade and there's a fear that she will intimidate the other Song Girls with her beauty and toned body?
A: Somehow I do not think the selection committee will look kindly upon her inclusion if she shows up for tryouts.
Q: Can you give the official reason why Alison was dropped from the Song Girl squad? Earlier this year, she was originally one of the 14 Song Girls on the squad but she is no longer part of the team.
Many people have said that she is a senior who actually will not have enough units to be eligible once the new semester starts next year and thus violating one of the requirements. However, why would she have even tried out and make the squad if she knew that she wouldn't have enough units earlier this year? Could it be that the intense scrutiny brought on by all the cronyism and nepotism exposed by Song Girlgate actually compelled the squad to drop her? This has occurred before with the coach's daughter not having enough units in her senior year but still making the squad. Any word on why this Song Girl was expelled from the squad?

A: I have not heard any reasons yet. This is one of those thing where the readers will need to contribute.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
