Attention Virginia Trojans
A group of USC alumni is trying to get the state of Virginia to produce a USC license plate. The state does make about 30 out-of-state colleges, including Notre Dame.
The State DMV requires pre-paid applications for 350 vehicles before it will approve the program and they are currently at around half that mark. Plate fees are $25 per year, plus another $10 annually for a six-character "vanity" message.
Information after the jump.

Be warned, I had a USC sticker on my car while living in Arlington(I hate Bailey's) and I got plenty of hell from VaTech alumni that loved to throw sh*t at my car any chance they got. Then again, that 24-13 score was fresh in their minds while I was still living there two years ago. Good luck getting those plates...still hate having those damn state and county stickers plastered in the bottom center of my windshield.
That's crazy because I lived there for many years and can't remotely imagine that. Most of the people in Virginia are not rabid that way since there are lots of large state universities (UVa, William and Mary for instance) and small private colleges. Va Tech is in no way the flagship school. Besides, northern Virginia (suburban D.C.) is too populated, upscale, etc. to be that provincial.
I normally have a strong dislike for Wolf and wish he'd be replaced BUT this post is the sort of thing that I must commend him on.
