Oregon State coach Mike Riley was asked if the extra time (12 days) will help prepare for USC.
``It might take 12 months,'' Riley said.
Oregon State might get quarterback Sean Canfield for the USC game. He was the original starter last year but got hurt and was replaced by Lyle Moevao.
"He was throwing some comebacks, some deep 'in' routes the other day, which I hadn't seen him throw since last year,'' Riley said.
