| | Comments (4) |

Pete Carroll and Jim Tressel are different. Carroll went to see the movie, ``Traitor'' last week while Tressel says the last movie he saw was ``Jaws.''

Hey Wolfie, maybe you can compare what they ate for breakfast today? Or do they prefer briefs or boxers? How about the cars they drive? They probably are different there, too.

Maybe we can get Tressel to drive up and down some of the impoverished streets of Los Angeles when Ohio State gets to town so he can chat with people down on their luck and try to inspire them, or get them jobs so they can lift up their lives. Wouldn't that be a cool thing to write about, Wolfie?

What? Oh, that's right, Pete Carroll already has that taken care of. You'll just never read about it in this blog. Instead, we'll probably get more Roman Meal quips and something about how that 52-7 win over Virginia was all luck.

Gee, I wonder why the newspaper industry is continually shrinking!

What an enlightening article Scott. I would have never believed that there was such a blaring difference between Carroll and Tressel until you brought it up and showed us all.
Write something that matters and stop whining. Tell us the players reactions to Ohio State's win vs. vaunted Ohio U. Tell us if Maualuga can make a fist yet. What did Sark re-learn from watching the master work against Tennessee? Was the coaching staff watching the Patriot game and cheering for Matt Cassell? Tell me something that I don't know!

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
