1. And we learn even more about Scott Wolf-- he does not like beards on young men. Well, I am glad we got that important piece of information out of the way.
2. Criticizing a team after it loses is one of the oldest sports in the world. And when reconstructing a game after it has been played it is pretty easy to cherry pick plays that should have/should not have been called.
3. All of the games SC has lost over the years, that is 9 games in 7-years, I repeat 9 losses in 7-years, could have been won by the Trojans. And all those losses have been analyzed over and over by the SC critics, which is a back-handed compliment to USC.
SC has had a remarkable run, and one that I do not believe has ever been accomplished and certainly will not be repeated in this century, what with college parity. I for one regale in Trojan football. There is nothing like it. And it is resilient. The boys will bounce back this Saturday against the Ducks, bet on it, and for the 7th straight year the Trojans are in the hunt for another National Championship.
