ESPN To Pac-10: No Thanks

That's kind of a dumb move only because you have the Mighty Bulldogs of Georgia (or least their mighty in the eyes of one SW). After having hearing this, you have to figure that ESPN says "ASU, overrated. Georgia, maybe overrated". So insted, ESPN wants to go kiss Sgt. Vince "Les Miles" Carter's butt again. Geez, way to make the Pac-10 look bad ASU. Fight On!

I bet you that if USC plays OSU this coming Saturday ESPN would be hosting the CFB at the LA Coliseum. The bigger the fish the bigger the fry. Whether you or me NOT liking ESPN's decision is irrelevant. The nature of the business dictates those decisions. It is sad but true.

I will throw another dish with a different flavor. Assuming USC goes to the NC game what guarantees that the Pac-10 will have one its teams playing in the Rose Bowl? That could happen again if you have a guy like Mack Brown lobbying for it.

El Cap, I agree with you that ESPN would be there if the game was at USC (against OSU), just like they were last week for College Game Day. That's why I said, ESPN is does want not go where the "overrated" teams are playing, and why they want to pick up a school like LSU (who at this time, is not considered overrated). Because ASU pulled a FUCLA (ok, may be not as bad as FUCLA), that's ESPN said, lets look elsewhere. ASU cost the Pac 10 more first line national coverage because their tank job. As for the possibility of the Pac 10 missing out on the Rose Bowl if our Trojans are in the BCSNC game, you're right, its very possible that the Rose Bowl may not pick a Pac 10 team. We'll how the season plays out. Fight On!

i care who goes from the pac10 since we got stuck playing crappy a$$ illinois team because so many people have a hardon for pac10 vs big10 in the rose bowl. if that's how they want to do it, and we have to play illinois instead of georgia last year, than they better make the big10 play the second best pac10 team, if sc goes to the big game.

and ya, screw the sun devils for once again putting a gian blemish on the entire conference by blowing a game they should have won. it happens every year.
