Green Gets A Look
No. 4 QB Garrett Green got to work with the second team today as a reward for strong performances in practice.
``We're giving Garrett a good look,'' USC coach Pete Carroll said. ``We're going to keep the competition open. Garrett's not out of it. He's done a nice job under the circumstances.''
Green, who strained his knee against Ohio State, is wearing a brace but said it does not affect him. He hurt his knee on the kickoff team. Carroll said if he wasn't hurt, he would have played against the Buckeyes.
``It's definitely more fun,'' Green said of being the backup. ``It's night and day between the (scout) team and the real offense. (Scout) team is great but it's not football.''

Never hurts to have a backup to the backup, thats backing up the second backup, who is backed up by a backup of his own...........(sigh)
Don't keep us in suspense. Is Mustain out of here?
