Many USC Song Girls say on their profiles that they join the squad as it provides exposure which will help them in their future careers as actresses and in the entertainment industry. Yet if you go on IMDB.com and enter "USC Song Girls" under biography, it comes up with at least half a dozen former Song Girls and not one of them has been even slightly successful as an actress, despite the fact many other USC graduates have actually gone on to have successful, or at least working, careers as actresses. So what do you attribute to why former USC Song Girls have gone on to be such abysmal failures as actresses? Clearly being a Song Girl does not appear to help them, no matter how much exposure they happen to get from being on the squad.

Is Shareece Wright's injury real? The timing seems almost too perfect and appears to be an excuse for suspending him due to his legal problems, but Carroll does not want to admit that publicly. This has eerie similarities to the situation with the Tings a couple of years ago when they announced they were leaving the football team to "concentrate on getting into medical school," which they were initially applauded for, yet it was then leaked a few days later that one of them had failed a steroid test and was actually suspended, which was the real reason for their departure.

With Garrett Green's completely unexpected move up from No. 4 to No. 2 quarterback, do you agree or disagree with the following reasons for this move:

1) Corp had become complacent in his position as No. 2 and this was a jolt to make him realize not to take the position for granted and the competition actually is ongoing.
2) Mustain has been in a funk since August and this was a wake up call for him to start playing like his old self again and get the point across to him that the QB position is fluid and nothing is set in stone.
3) This throws a bone to Green for his years on the team and makes him realize that all his hard work is not futile and this is his reward, no matter how temporary.

Deadspin did a dissertation on the recent Sarah Carmona Song Girl scandal and concluded "cheerleaders really are just a bunch of brazen exhibitionists." Agree or disagree?

Scotty, fyi, Jamere Holland was reported to be one of three Oregon football players involved in a car accident last night. The driver was back up linebacker Eddie Pleasant, who was admitted to the hospital requiring 75 stitches. He was charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and misdemeanor speed racing. The other passenger was QB Darron Thomas, he and Holland were uninjured.

Correction: it appears that Holland had a concussion. He and Pleasant are not travelling to WSU this weekend.

You have personally responded to numerous hateful comments made about the SC song girls. You even created a special "Song Girl Forum," encouraging angry, resentful men to post misogynistic statements about these beautiful college women, who continue to dedicate their time and energy to this university. You claim your blog deletes offensive comments, yet you continually allow this forum to be a platform for vile comments toward the song girls, particularly about their unattractiveness or speculation related to their personal lives. Scott, what exactly is wrong with these beautiful, hardworking women? I fully expect you to ignore this question or backtrack.

Drop USC in your ballot if they win out? Why? Because the PAC-10 is down this year? Like USC can really control what the rest of the PAC-10 does!

Why do you, as a voter, reward Georgia and Florida for playing a cup-cake Out-of-Conference schedule? Georgia plays Arizona State and all the media can talk about is how awesome that was for Georgia to travel 1,900 miles to Tempe, AZ and beat a team that just lost to UNLV....oh, boy, that sure was a great game! ASU wasn't even ranked! Yet, all we hear is Georgia did a great job. Whereas, with regard to USC/Ohio State, now we hear, "Well sure they were ranked 5th in the country, but they aren't any good, so I'm going to drop the Trojans." Yeah that makes a lot of sense there Wolfie!

What I think is truly sad in all of this is the fact that an undefeated USC team could end up back in the Rose Bowl against a sub-par opponent like last year. Until we have a playoff system, we'll never know who the greatest team each year is...period! And for those naysayers out there...if the fans start making enough noise and enough problems arise with the BCS system, which could happen this year, then college presidents will be forced to create a playoff system...

BTW, if OU runs the table, Wolfie will probably keep them at five on his ballot! "Let's rank 2 and 3 loss SEC teams ahead of all the undefeated teams" - Scott Wolf's thought process.

I think Oklahoma is in the BCS title game, and there is still one spot left. Every SEC team will have one loss.Oregon, Stanford, California and Arizona State are all good teams taht USC faces. So is it possible for USC to win the remaing games with large margins with the embarrassing Oregon State loss and play in the BCS championship game?

I think the SEC is overrated, they don't play against all their conference.

Remember when you are voting that SEC teams play Divion 2 teams and non BCS teams for their nonconference schedule.

Is it just me or is the only time sark can call a good game is when he has 2 or more weeks to prep for a team? I mean when you look at all the times he has 2 or more weeks to prep he is an awesome OC, but when you give him less than that he is a below average OC (see Oregon state game tonight)? Why is Sanchez still wearing that Mexican mouthpiece which he knows is a source of controversy and opposition by many and proves he is not a team player who wears the same uniform as the rest of the team? Are the rumors circulating true that he is getting advice from an agent and the Mexican mouthpiece is considered a marketing strategy?

I read the comments this past week about the current make-up of the Coliseum, especially the new rougher crowd, and do you think the following are accurate numbers for who comprises the crowd at USC football games in 2008 (at least for the Ohio State game):

USC Students: 11,000
USC Alumni: 25,000
USC Staff/Faculty: 1,500
Fans with no ties to USC: 35,000
Visiting team's fans: 20,000

Can the absurd talk over the uneducated few who were claiming the past couple of weeks that Sanchez was somehow better than Booty and an improvement now be put safely to rest? Sanchez showed against Oregon State that the same problems he always had, he still has. He makes dumb decisions that Booty never made. His defeatist body language on the sidelines with 7 minutes to go was atrocious and had no business being on a Trojan sideline. The way he got rattled in a hostile environment, clueless as to what to even do, was something that would never have happened to Booty. The mistakes Sanchez made were purely his mistakes, including that ridiculous interception, which again, Booty would never have made. It is quite safe to say now that Booty was a far better quarterback than Sanchez.

When Pete Carroll said, "The PAC-10 is ridiculously hard," did you laugh?

All the issues and doubts people had about Sanchez came true against OSU so how many more pathetic and embarrassing performances like that should we expect before the plug is pulled and Sanchez is benched in favor of a QB (whether it's Corp, Mustain or, heck, Green) who actually has a semblance of poise on the field and not some total deer in headlights look when the student body gets on his back or is faced with a defense who can read him like a book? Seriously, how much more before he is kicked to the curb?

But seriously, given the alcohol abuse on college campuses, what was USC thinking? Is it all really about the money? What's next? Camel as the 'Official Smokes of USC Football'?

Did some USC players not give full effort in the game? It looked like some just did not run the whole plays and others were lost on defense leeting players run by them like Clay Matthews and Kyle Moore. Also was the injuries on defense to Mays, Cushing, and others a reason why the defense was not its usual self.

Allen Bradford was not given one carry, he was needed for the 3rd and 1 plays USC missed on, and Patterson, Hazelton, Ausberry were missing against a weak secondary that kept surrunding big plays, but USC never exploited, Wright was missing.

What changes in players, play calling, and coaching will be made by USC after this terrible loss? Also will Pete Carroll after seeing the defensive line get beat up badly try to lure Ed Orgeron back or make a change since Moala, Moore, Griffitn, Spicer, and Matthews were beat badly?

Why are the investigations into Reggie Bush/Pete Carroll/FB and the OJ Mayo/Tim Floyd/MBB taking so painstakingly long to be resolved? Seems like the court processes are taking a while for the Reggie Bush scandal, but ESPN practically laid out the whole paper trail (including previous wrist slaps for Rodney Guillory)for the OJ Mayo scandal yet NOTHING has been said or done. What's the deal?

Also, I believe you said once that you don't think Tim Floyd will be the MBB coach for too much longer. Can you please expland upon that? (unless I'm mistaken)

Okay, Florida was ranked #2 (I believe) in your poll last week. And you have stated that Ol' Miss is a quality loss for Florida and that losing to #8 for Georgia keeps them in the top ten. If Alabama loses to Kentucky this week will the other teams fall with them? Or will you simply keep elevating LSU and Auburn? In regards to comparing Florida's loss to SC's loss to Ore St, could it also be that since Florida has not beat any teams of substance and has lost to Ol' Miss at home no less, that perhaps they, too, are a pushover? Or will all three of these losses be let down games? Where teams play a great game against tough opposition let down in their next game???

I second the quesiont AGAIN of using McKnight. Why so much? What was promised to this kid? I understand that the kid is dangerous on punts, but when you can't catch them or WON'T catch them doesn't that make him dangerous in a bad way? Isn't the goal on a punt return is to catch the ball and to maximize field position with any sort of return that is possible?

What is more likely to return their value by January - my stocks or the football team?
