About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

It's about time that the pollsters stop rewarding bullies who beat up on financially strapped 1-AA (I mean FCS) schools. It's great to see recognition for USC, Clemson, Alabama, TN, UCLA, Cal, Wisconsin. These teams that go for a real cross-country bruiser on opening day should be given better treatment.
Wednesday Night Football. Matt Barkley and Mater Dei will be on ESPN2 tonight against LA City powerhouse Carson. 6PM PST.
TN & Wisconsin? Tennessee yacked against a poor FUCLA team and Wisconsin beat up on a helpless Akron team. Wait until Wisky goes to Fresno State (a team that traveled to Piscataway, NJ) in a week and a half to give them props.
I think Cal should've gotten much more respect for that W against Michigan State. I really think Sparty is going to be pretty good this year, and if Tedford stops putting in Longshore, the Golden Bears will be pretty good as well.
Look out for Arizona too. I know they beat up on crappy old Idaho, but I think that Mike Leach (by way of Sonny Dykes) spread offense will be pretty potent in year two with senior Willie Tuitama running the show. I fear that game, above all SC road games at this point. For some reason, Arizona always plays us fairly tough - even when badly outmanned.
surehot, you brought up great points, about how much improved and how much stronger the Pac 10 is this year. Yet (and I have to hear it living in SEC/Big East territory of Kentucky), no one on this side of the country is giving props to the Pac 10. Blinded fools who live their life's off of moonshine, hillbillies and Adolph "Hitler" Rupp. Fight On!
