Any comments?
Here's Pete Carroll: ``This is a great win for us but it doesn't mean an more than the others. Joe (McKnight) really answered the call for us, really securing the ball and making something happen.''

Here's BoscoH: "We dominated against a talented team. Sanchez played an efficient game, showing that he could stay in the pocket, step up, and find a receiver. While Matt Leinart was obviously the greatest college quarterback ever, Mark Sanchez is showing fundamentals we have not seen since Carson Palmer's senior year."

I have not heard a single talking head/blowhard yet who does not think USC will do anything less than blow out Ohio State. I have not made a prediction yet but it's always dangerous when a groupthink forms (especially when Anthony Davis is allowed on TV).
It's early in the season, but a dull performance against Ohio and rout of a team that beat Richmond 16-0 seem to have firmed up the ``analysts'' opinion. Among those is CBS analyst Spencer Tillman, who said USC ``looked like world beaters.''
You weren't even man enough to make a claim.

Sloppy game, too many penalties by both teams. Great OSU secondary that made USC passing attack earn every yard. Shut down several receivers. Tressel planned it only way it could work and if TD not called back could have made it closer as could have stuck with ball control move the clock and chains plan. USC penalties held back scores too.
But this game was a given. Everyone called it. In a physical battle its the big plays that would decide and USC had all the playmakers. Sort of felt sorry for Buckeyes
Biggest observation for USC is that D-line in end won battle and more impressive was USC O-line which ended all questions.
In terms of emotion and just wanting to play USC ranks with 62, 72 and 2004 teams.
Rey-Rey with intercept may have stepped up for Butkus award but really this was Cushing's game who was an almost a no-show at Virginia.
Who could beat SC? Cal will give a game, maybe?
On national scene Missouri has great skilled players. Georgia would be like OSU. Florida with Tebow and that scatback maybe.
As I said before season, Joe is better than Reggie. Gable reminds me of Marcus and Bradford is almost as fun to watch as Lendale was. The way PC saves
Stafon for fresh legs in 2nd half is something.

As I said earlier in the week, this is really a game that USC couldn't win. Oh they did win it on the score board and on the field like I knew they would. However, in the eyes of the east coast and the south, they are calling the "Uckeyes" completely overrated (another Big 10 team that just dominates in conference, but can't handle the big games outside of conference). If the game had been close, then everyone would have said "well only because Beanie boy didn't play, and the game was in LA is why USC won a close one". We all know the truth, PC schedules the toughest games and that right now, USC is really starting to roll, and it will not matter who gets in the way. So the rest of the nation (including the crap head fans of the SEC) can kiss my "BUTT"! It would not have mattered if Beanie had played, a whooping is whooping and "THE" Ohio St got taught a lession. Hey Rey Small, you want to tell us all about how serious they are about football in Columbus. Take a look at the scoreboard again.Bet Carson Palmer is in Ohio this morning, with a big ole smile on his face. Fight On!

Most important performance: O-line. Rushing avg over 5 yrds/carry, only 1 sack given. Incredible job for such an inexperienced group. Great, great job Jeff, Charles, Zack, Butch, and Kris. Congrats, Coach Ruehl!
I believe Joe Mc could face a brick wall and find a way to squirt through for 10 yards. Reggie Bush 2.0+.
