Questions, Questions
Some questions as USC starts preparing for Oregon.
1. Can Mark Sanchez lead USC to a comeback victory?
2. Was the defensive front seven overrated by the ``experts?''
3. Is the offensive line suddenly a question mark again?
4. Does Stafon Johnson deserve more playing time?

#1 NO He's been poorly coached, he's not ready
#2 YES
# 3 YES
# 4 YES!!! But McKnights Pete's little boy, he will continue to play, and fumble, and screw up punts.
RRB is correct.
Sure would like to see some quality special teams play, preferably playing after some coaching by a special teams coach.
Oh, wait, we don't have a special teams coach - we don't need those kinds of points, we can get them in other ways!
1.He wasn't able to at Oregon State
2.Maybe; at OSU they were up against some guys that were as big and as fast as they are supposed to be.
3.OSU's defense had mucho penetration and lateral line persuit. Their secondary shut the passing game down, they stuffed the run and the pocket was always collapsing around Sanchez. His passes as the line collapsed shows he gets the jitters and is yet to settle down under stress.
4.Absolutely, he needs as many touches as he can get, he will get a rhythm, only thing, Sark wants to mix it up.
The back at OSU carried the ball 37 times, definitely a durable little fellow.
As far as the coaching, SC has become quite predictable by most of the PAC10 coaches. The favoritism that is shown to several of players is doing no one any good and is demoralizing to many of the other players.
Position and skill coaching: average
Defensive Line: average to above average
Secondary: average to above average
Linebackers: average
Offensive line: above average
Quarterback/Backfield: average
Play calling while leading by 20: above average to very good.
Play calling while trailing by 20: abysmal
Total let down in the 4th Qtr at OSU
No matter how you stack it; this program is not what it was four years ago.
1. Yes
2. No
3. No
4. All the RB's earn it every week.
The Trojans Rock and they will show it against Oregon.
These kind of doubts should be brought up at the end of UCLA's season, not after the 3rd game of the Trojans.
1) not if he zones in only on Damian
2) Christian and Averill combined for 3 tackles against OSU??? LB Undisciplined LBs???
3) couldn't handle OSU's great schemes
4) CJ needs the rock more too!
1. He can, but hopefully he won't have to.
2. They had an off game - I'm pretty sure the 'experts' know how to grade most players.
3. We'll find out on Saturday.
4. He sure does. But will he get any? I highly doubt it. USC seems to go with McKnight and Gable first and they usually determine who has the 'hot hand' before Stafon even gets a chance to carry a couple times.
1. TBD
2. Yes. But only because the experts said they could leap tall buildings in a single bound.
3. Obviously.
4. Dear God yes.
I have a question to all these harsh critics/experts. If Mark is so bad WHY his numbers reflect differently? The team needed scores in the second half and he delivered. Yes, he came short but the last time I checked there are TEN more players on offense...
Thank you
1. Hell no. Sanchez is horrible and has to go.
2. Hell yes. Not nearly as good as advertised.
3. Hell yes. Virginia and Ohio State were horrible and were not good barometers.
4. Hell yes. McKnight should be benched.
