Good for him. And he will always treasure this honor, because you never know if you will be recognized again, the process is so arbitrary at times.

And is it not so sweet that the national voters felt that SC's victory over Virginia was better than Ohio State's and Georgia's cupcake victories, and that they have placed the Trojans, once again, at the No. 1 spot.

I will not feign pridefulness.

On a related note, The Donkey congratulates Mitch on his first TD as a Trojan:

"Mitch Mustain’s 10-yard touchdown-scoring screen pass to tailback Marc Tyler in the fourth quarter, which was originally ruled a lateral, was changed to a forward pass, which credits Mustain with his first touchdown toss as a Trojan."

Whoah DonKey! I thought Scott posted that the since the pass was behind the line of scrimmage, it counted as a run. Of course, that made no sense to me, but I'm not an official NCAA scorekeeper.

BoscoH, has Scott been correct all the time?

In all fairness, The Donkey knows Scott was correct initially, but then VA corrected the statistic. But the Donkey knows Scott will take his time, if at all, correcting it.

I watched the game and to me it was a lateral>IT...
And so it goes...

I agree that he graded-out at a "B" for the Virginia game. My reasoning is: Did you see how high off the ground he jumped (in excitement) after he threw his touchdown passes? Isn't that how he popped his freakin kneecap out. Bring it down a bit, Mark.
