SOS
It's a good thing the human polls will be two-thirds of the BCS formula because the Versus Conference is doing USC no favors with its strength of schedule. Ultimately, it should not matter but in the old days, the computer geeks would be working overtime to figure out how that SOS would be affected.
As the Pac 10 continues to come up sucking and lame in this early going, it is becoming kind of uncomfortable, thinking that SC could possibly run the table and get left out of the BCS championship game again. With Oregon and AzSt both losing again, the Pac is losing way too much respect. I actually found myself rooting for the Domers today during their loss to Mich St...just to beef up our SOS some. Disgusting!

The Pac-10 really is an embarrassment this year.
It is fairly clear already that the BCS Title participants will be a 3 horse race between USC, the Big 12, and the SEC. Unfortunately, the point spread between common opponents (Oklahoma vs Washington and Georgia vs Arizona State, both on the road) may be looked at by some pollsters. USC plays both of these teams at home, and may need to win huge just to break even.
