Ed Orgeron indirectly helped USC today. He got fired at Ole Miss, which hired Houston Nutt and allowed the Rebels to snap a nine-game SEC losing streak with an upset of Florida. As we mentioned yesterday, there are many losses ahead for SEC and Big 12 teams.

You're actually attributing that win solely to Houston Nutt being the coach rather than Coach O? Sorry, but Coach O recruited his butt off and brought those guys in. Can't be easy to convince kids to go to Ole Miss.
#3 Georgia is down 31-0 and #4 Florida has already lost.
#8 or #9 Wisconsin also went down to Michigan.
I'd say USC is already back in the hunt.
Only drawback is it would have been better to have them lose after the Trojans rebounded with a few wins.
I think Florida losing to Ole Miss in the Swamp is worse than the Beaver loss. It may be closer to the Stanford loss. Right now the Big 12 looks sharp and OU looks like #1 for a while. How good is Alabama?
