The LAPD is going to have any extra detail to deal with ticket scalpers at the game. Somehow I still think it will be hard to walk 20 feet without running into someone selling tickets.

When you see the sketchy looking dudes standing around ASKING "does anyone have tickets?" they are really the scalpers.
Am I wrong?

Not true.
Take it from one who for years expected to get a good ticket on game day around the coliseum (or the Rose Bowl on January 1). Hold your hand up with one finger or two and you will catch the attention of sellers, or look for swarming people. Also, it is the black guys that usually have the tickets. And not everybody is a scalper; sometimes people would have their partner get sick and end up with an extra ticket they're trying to sell.
However, since the arrival of a certain Pete Carroll and SC continuously in the hunt for the national championship with sold-out games I can hardly find a seller at the coliseum. And the few that are selling never have 10 yard line or better tickets.
And another problem was forged tickets. I got stuck on two occasions.
So I finally gave up, and now pay the big bucks for a few of the big games each year. And stub-hub guarantees the authenticity of the tickets. Plus it gives one security going in to Oregon or Nebraska or Auburn with a good ticket in your hand. Of course I don't get to sit with the Trojans when visiting other cities, but they stick SC in the end zone where the site line is not much fun.

there will be plenty of scalpers i assure you. there always are. look for them just east of the coliseum along that road between fig and the stadium near game time. several hours before kickoff you can find them on the edge of campus by jefferson at that crosswalk.

Both Perry and McNeal have been cleared by the NCAA Eligibility Center, and are registered and enrolled at USC. They should be ready to practice on Tuesday (USC's next practice).
