Weekend Warning
Weekend warning: Carroll gave his usual speech to the Trojans about avoiding trouble with the weekend off.
``This is a long break here,'' he said. ``We have to do it well. We made a big deal about these days and using them. We lose control of the guys for a couple days.''
Isn't it any kind of warning sign when the coaches start worrying about who is going to rape somebody, beat somebody up, or do anything else criminal over the weekend routinely? Geezus at some point the integrity of the players should matter.
I suppose call the LAPD and tell them to warm up the lockup.

I suppose if something happened you would say that the coaching staff and/or university did nothing to control the players and was just careless. I guess we just can't win, except of course where it counts.
I might say that, if I thought Pete actually cared. His record speaks for itself.
You guys will win, I just would rather win with class.
