Answer Monday!
Time to answer questions. But before we do, let's go back to last night. Did USC really need to put C.J. Gable back in the game for the last touchdown if Broderick Green was tired? Where were Adam Goodman? D.J. Shoemate? Stanley Havili? And why was Green tired anyways? As John McKay said, ``The ball's not that heavy.''
Q: Remove yourself as a writer and make yourself a fan. Does Carroll need to make some changes in his coaching staff?
A: I can answer that question the same as a writer or a fan. This is USC, the supposed premier football program in the nation. If that is the case, then it should have the nation's top coaching staff. It certainly pays the most, in some cases. That is why it rankles some that Norm Chow and DeWayne Walker, former USC assistants, are the coordinators at UCLA. They might not have the talent to work with across town, but people wonder what they would be doing if they were at USC.
Q: If SC and Sanchez finishes strong and wins the Rose Bowl or BCS title game, do you think Sanchez could go pro?
A: No. He would be silly to leave after only one season and I think he comes from a grounded family, so it wouldn't be an issue. His stock would be much higher after two good seasons.
Q: Just about half way through the season, can you get a real sense of who might decide to leave early after the season? Fight On!
A: I've already said that Taylor Mays is expected to declare pro after this season. If he were healthy, Shareece Wright would have been a possibility but he's looking to redshirt now, so it's a moot point. Offensively, I don't think anyone really merits leaving early and is a serious possibility.

Scott, I know you don't read the comments but you didn't answer the person's question regarding coaching changes. As far as I know Walker and Chow aren't on the staff anymore, yet you bring up Walker and Chow, coaches who haven't coached at USC since 2001 and 2005, respectively.

You beat me to it, he didn't answer the question. Maybe I should ask one about the song girls next time.
