BCS Preview
With five of the six computer rankings available, as well as the Harris amd Coaches' polls, BCS guru Jerry Palm calculated that Texas would be top-ranked in the BCS poll, with Alabama second. Penn State would be third, followed by USC, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Florida, Utah, and Georgia.
USC is in good shape since it has the easiest schedule.

Right now USC is in good shape and if they lose another game the NCG is history. If they win out they need to be at least number #2 when the season ends that way they will be in the NCG.
USC has one thing in its favor that is being overlooked. However, the computers notice and it will be factored into the BCS rankings. The Trojans will have played 3 Out of Conference opponents from BCS conferences (I'll count ND as one) Not just D1 schools or even Mid Majors, but BCS level foes. Most of the other top teams are playing D2 schools and really weak D1 schools. Maybe a Mid major, but not 3 big boys.
If this blog entry by Scott was in any way influenced by my Open Forum request, I say thanks Wolfman.
Also, can it be BCS Preview sponsored by Troyjan & Tonic next week? That would even be better than the selection as a Spotlight Question!
Captain Idiot proves, once again, that he is the king of useless, completely obvious, information. So USC will be in BCS game if they are ranked No. 2 or above at the end of the season? Really? Really? Gosh, darn, no one would have ever known that if Captain Idiot did not tell us that.
He also shows his pathetic lack of English skills with yet another post full of grammatical errors and poor English.
Stupidity + Illiteracy = Captain Idiot
Well now, that was certainly uncalled for.
