Before We Forget

It sure seemed like in the first half USC's playcalling tried to force passes when a run or short pass to the tight end or fullback would suffice.

Sark? Forcing plays?

No way!

Yet, if we throw all dinks and dunks, the board would be screaming to open it up. I like that we aired it out a bit. Sanchez needs to get the adrenaline under control sooner. Plenty of opportunities to win this game 30-3. And, remember, that Joe Mc barely played. And, did Gable get hurt? Typical Oct close game where we play down to the opponents level. We always take it up a notch in Nov. I'm not worried at all. We looked sluggish like this at this time the last two years with JDB, but those seasons ended relatively well.

All that being said, Zona at home is a pretty good team, and our defense completely shut them down.

Do I think we played down to the level of competition? No, But I do think we left A LOT of opportunities on the field.
