Bellotti Upset

| | Comments (8) |

Oregon coach Mike Bellotti was not thrilled that USC called a deep pass on the 59-yard touchdown from Mitch Mustain to David Ausberry with 1:50 remaining.
``That surprised me,'' Bellotti said. ``I don't get that. I guess they think there is still a margin of victory.''

What a freakin' idiot! Sometimes when you are just executing plays, especially with your second or third string group, you cannot help it! Stop whining coach! Play some football! Fight On!

It is the second and third string playing football. They work hard all week what do you want them to do? Take a knee?

44-10 is nothing compared to way Oregon ran up the score last week. 60 something points. What was Bellotti thinking then?

Maybe Bellotti should review the play...that's usually the only coaching he does when he comes to LA.

Its a problem if you have Sanchez in there throwing late to pad stats. Having your backups doing it is preparing them to play if the starters get hurt.

No way is Pete Carroll a Bob Stoops (or Steve Spurrier when he a had dominant Florida team in a weak SEC back in the day to run it up)

Not to mention that Sanchez went out of the game with an injury. They were preparing Mustain for next week if necessary, in an actual game situation. You can simulate real game action, but it's nothing like the real thing. Ease up Mike, sorry you lost.

Right on PLH55 (and FIGHT ON TOO). I was really happy to see MM get a quarter worth of reps. If MS does not go down, we won't see him till the last 7 minutes. He looked rusty, but made some plays too. the best part was the coaches gave him some plays to make, not just hand off or a short swing pass. Considering the state of MS's knees, we need him to get in as much as possible.

Deep pass? What deep pass? It was a play designed to get a first down. Too bad their secondary sucks.

Mike's a crybaby. As posted before, did their offense let up against WSU? No. Besides I read the pass wasn't the play called, and that Mustain audibled based on the Oregon D on the play. Good for him. Mike, not our fault if your D can't make a play.

The problem with blowouts is that here in Arizona ABC switches to a closer game like the Wisc/Ohio St game.
