Why they don't do this every game I'll never know.
Ever notice how 99% of completed passes by the opposition occur in the 7 to 15 yard range down the sidelines?
I know it is a priority of the defense to take away the deep ball, but how about changing the coverages more often. The early Pete Carroll teams did this and were not a predictable.

Ah yes but the early PC teams had some coaches, a cb coach and the aggressive Coach O up front who really was creative with putting pressure up front w the d-line (but really was not ready to be a head coach remotely). We also got a transfer in Will Poole coming from Boston College who was already a great man to man corner.
I assume, and maybe Scott could help us here, but are we getting a cb coach or do we have someone who really can teach?
