Safety Kevin Ellison injured his knee and the extent of the injury is not known.
``I don't know what happened. My knee hurts right now,'' Ellison said.
Ellison is getting an MRI tonight to determine the extent of the injury.

The kid is 7-games away from completing a great SC career and becoming a multi-millionaire, and then this.
Reminds me of "Friday Night Live" where the SC bound high school star has his career killed with a knee injury.
This is a HUGE blow to this defense and to this team. He has been a rock on this team for years now. To know he got hurt returning an interception in PRACTICE is distressing. We all know that he is tough enough to rebound from this, but how many losses will be in the books by then.

LJ, I think you mean "Friday Night Lights" and if so, Smash Williams was headed for Texas (thinly disguised as a fictional Texas school in Austin) not SC when he blew out his knee.
Anyone who hasn't seen this show need to put seasons 1 & 2 on Netflix immediately. It's a really good show for anyone who enjoys football and cheerleaders (and judging by the posts on this board, that takes care of everybody).
