How many sideline interference penalties does USC need to receive this season?
It wasn't enough that the coaches drew a penalty in the Arizona State game.
But nothing compared to the penalty on the game's final play tonight. If Arizona had one more second, they would have gotten one more play to tie the game. The flag was thrown because cannot control themselves down on the sideline and spill on to the field. Amazing.

Sorry Paul, but 1967 was a good 7 yeas before I was born, and if it only happens once every 41 years, I wouldn't be that worried about it. What are you suggesting they do? Run backwards until the clock ran out? What if they were tackled before the clock expired?
There were 9 seconds left. You're not going to run out the last 9 seconds, but if you can't pull off a "max protect" and kick the ball out of bounds, you don't have any business suiting up.
