Just so wrong on so many levels again!
Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State are so over ranked it's insane.
Oklahoma never had a chance against Texas because Stoops can't coach in big games. Never has and never will. Ol' Mack has won a few.
Mizzou is bad. They have no defense and the offense can't handle speed at all.
Texas opened against Florida Atlantic, UTEP, Rice, Arkansas, and Colorado: all very bad teams. That's 5 wins without breaking a sweat. Then they play Oklahoma, and as mentioned before, the Sooners didn't really stand a chance considering their coach. Yet, the Longhorns struggled through and got a W over a highly ranked team so that should be lauded. Texas should win the rest of their games by at least 3 if 4 scores.
Texas Tech, is all offense and no substance. They also haven't played anybody. I know how good you might think SMU and UMass are, Scott, but really?
Oklahoma State is not very good either. They have played mainly a SOFT schedule. They barely beat a bad Mizzou team and struggled with WASHINGTON STATE (the very SAME Washington State) where it was a two score game into the 4th quarter. Just soft.
Then there is Mizzou. They were supposed to be #1 or #2 at season's end, playing in a BCS championship game for sure. They had everyone back, including a Heisman finalist. This just in, they are just not very good. Even the Tiger faithful know this.
The Big XII in general is weak, but is held up so high because analysts like offense. It doesn't matter that they are doing all this scoring against NOBODY. With all this winning this conference is doing, I don't see any Oregon States, Cals, or USC's, let alone Ohio States, Penn States or maybe even a Georgia on those schedules. The two toughest out of conference teams those "top" teams have played has been South Florida (another bad team that is overranked) and lost and Illinois, that is in the middle of the pack in the Big 11 (I count 11 teams, how about you?).
This whole thing breaks down real simple for the Trojans, practice hard, stay focused, win your games and see what BCS bowl game is left open after all the chaos. Focus on what you can control and nothing else. There WILL be chaos, I assure you.

Good take Keith15. Some how the Daily News is missing out on you, and leaves us all stuck with Wolfeee. Fight On!

Scott Wolf's most conspicuous talent seems to be the ability to attract a daisy chain of snarky "contributors," who have taken it as their duty to critique and undermine their would-be alma mater at every turn. When Scotty posts an "Open Forum," these little girls immediately descend, like so many locusts, commenting on whatever picayune topic their leader has most recently deemed current.

It is a sickening sight to behold.

Of course, the jury is still out as to the actual integrity of these half-dozen or so posters. Indeed, it seems highly likely that it's merely one or two exceptionally amorous little girl/s, oh so eager to make Scotty happy. Ironically, any theory that Scotty himself pens these otiose missives can be laid to rest, as evidenced by the fact that his own efforts at style and sentence construction pale in comparison to those of his acolytes.

By virtue of at least one thing, Wolf and his followers have entered a perfect marriage. Both have come to a football blog, knowing precious little about the topic at hand in the first place, and, by a perverse force of will, routinely contribute even less than what they're capable.

Actually, it's your mother, "Carl."

She's calling out to let you know that you forgot your chocolate milk again. Oh, and your liner for your diaper.

That is such a pathetically cringe-inducing attempt at being funny, it's sheer unfunny-ness is almost painfully funny.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
