Mustain `Spotty'

| | Comments (10) |

Quarterback Mitch Mustain wore down during Tuesday's practice after taking more snaps he usually does with Mark Sanchez out.
``My whole body is a little more tired than it usually is,'' Mustain said.
Pete Carroll said Mustain was ``spotty,'' during practice.
``During blitz period, the guys got after him pretty good,'' Carroll said.

Rodney Peete had a week like that once where he was a little spotty before the UCLA game. The rest is history. Of course, he wasn't backing up Mark Sanchez.

Ah, he'll be alright. Just workin' out those First String growing pains.

By spotty you mean measles?

Maybe it's his time of the month. Besides being spotty did he experience any cramping, bloating or unusual irritability?

I am sure it's just some temporary growing pains and he'll adjust soon enough.

Go get 'em, Mitch!

'Spotty' thats not bad. It is suppose to take three years to pick up on this complex NFL like Sark 'system' is it not. That is what Sarky was spouting off during camp when the offense was looking like it's usual mess. Good thing Sanchez and his talents are making the offense look competent.

I said it Saturday and I'll say it again:
It's amazing how top notch SEC talent can't handle the tempo, speed, and fierce competitiveness of the Pac 10 conference. Just like when he threw very late and then under threw the ball to McCoy in the endzone Saturday night. He DID make a good adjustment on the TD to Ausberry, but I think most 13 year olds make that audible, play and throw.

Rodney Peete was a warrior god among little boys. He picked his measles off and ate them in a mustard sandwich. Then, he had Bruin brulee' for dessert. Rodney = Jesus in my spirit world. Marcus = God. Let us pray.
