``All in all, this game featured a lot of coaching. In such a tight contest, it came down to a lot of big decisions.''
-- USC coach Pete Carroll
On this point, we agree.

Bad decisions.
Why didn't Pete trust his running game more? And why didn't Mark check down to the underneath routes more? And why didn't they punt the ball out of bounds with 9 seconds left in the game???

Pete and Sark are still in love with the Shock and Awe offense and the vertical passing game. They still think it's 2005.

Did we have this same complaint in 2005, 2006 and 2007? It's hard to believe, but a lot of USC pass plays don't have a check down option. They do, in theory, but in reality, Sark calls a modified vertical passing game. Probably why Al Davis wanted to hire him.

Never occurred to them. No special teams coach. Pete's recruiting and practice prep are second to none, but his game day strateregy is lacking.

USC offense is so poorly coached it is almost laughable. How many times must Sark and Kiffin before him prove to us they are incompetent and frauds.
