Here's the rest of the Open/Weekend Forum answers.
Q: With our RB's, I sure would love to see Student Body Left/Right once in a while. Any chance we'll see more of that?
A: It would be nice if USC did it more often. I think Stafon Johnson and C.J. Gable would be particularly effective with this play. But so far, it's not being used much.
Q: If you have the resources and contacts, could you make a BCS Rankings Forecast or Jerry Palm Update a regular feature on Sunday or Monday morning? Something like that with the computer rankings available would be of great interest and likely drive increased traffic to the Blog.
A: We've tried to do it so far and had a post Monday that addressed it.
Q: CJ Gable seems like such a versatile back. What past running backs would you say he comparable to? He reminds me of a Marcus Allen type back. What do you think?
A: I was going to say Fred Crutcher. Just kidding. He does have some Allen-like moves to him, I would agree. I actually think he's similar to Chauncey Washington but probably faster and a little shiftier.
Q: How many games to you fully or partially watch on Saturdays, and do you read post game articles about other top 25 teams? I'd like to know how you spend you spend your fall Saturday's and how it influences your ballot.
With USC's current ranking, it's obvious that many of the voters did not actually see how bad USC played this week and simply looked at the final score when voting USC.
A: If you are a beat writer, you are usually at the game of the team you cover. If I'm on the road, I can usually watch more games because most schools have less traffic, easier parking than the Coliseum. But it's still impossible to watch all the games, so I watch highlight shows and read stories on the Internet on Saturday night before making out my ballot.
Q: Answer is probably obvious, but I don't know for sure...if a player redshirt's, does that mean he gets his college education paid for five years? Might have something to do with the coaches not wanting Hazelton to red shirt this year.
A: If you redshirt, it is the same as playing, from a scholarship standpoint. If you take a medical redshirt and no longer play again, you are still on scholarship, however it does not count against the 85-scholarship limit.

This armchair quarterback calls for a HB Sweep with Gable blocking for Havili.
