About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Anyone know if he's used his redshirt year already?
He used his first year for medical red shirt. Remember he was recruited in the same year with Joe McKnight, but he's still a freshman.
I think he was the No. 1 recurit that year before he got hurt!! He could be better than Joe McKnight!!
He was an exceptional high school player against mostly 2nd and 3rd rate talent. He has never been tested until he got to SC. He is still trying to get healthy, but who knows if the kid is tough enough.
He is the beneficiary of good RB genes. "All great backs fumble, Jim," was Wendell Tyler's line.
Thanks.
I think I remember something about Jimmy Clausen promising that Tyler would be playing for Notre Dame when they were both in high school.
nope, Marc Tyler was ranked just below Joe in 2007. But does it really matter. I think it's important how they play at college level.
Tyler has the skill to play well at USC, just hope he returns well.
Yes, Marc Tyler will be a big-time RB at USC if he can just stay healthy. Actually, it's not bad that he is missing some time while young. But, he needs to turn it on next year and thereafter, and I fully expect him to be a big part of the mix. He has the genes, which suggest that he has NFL potential.
