Scott "Daffy Duck" Wolf gives the coaching a C+ grade. He gives the running backs a C+ grade. He gives special teams (did Oregon even return ONE kickoff by the Trojans in the entire game?) a grade of C.

Good thing Wolfie Duck's writing about USC football and doesn't actually do any work involved with the team on the field. Then the Trojans definitely would've earned an F-minus grade last weekend!

Just a reminder, Wolfie boy: Final score - USC 44, Oregon 10. Point spread was 16-17 points. Did USC play a lot better than most expected and/or predicted? Duh. Let me know where to meet up with you next weekend and I'll have a full plate of fresh crow for you to chow down at the tailgate party!

I wonder if Wolfie actually does any homework before he writes this trash, or if he just turns on his computer, types some garbage and then sends it in to the Daily News. Is anybody in the office editing his garbage???

C+ for running backs. What is this based on? There were some nice runes in this game and very few runes for a loss. B is more like it.

Coaching C+. Now I'm not a big fan of the tailback committee, but the 4th and 2 call was genius. Changed the entire game. The long pass plays were also well called. Defensive adjustments (no Oregon scoring in 2nd half) were also effective. C+ is absurd Scott.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
