Winning Masks Mistakes
USC coach Pete Carroll is telling the players this week that they made some of the same mistakes they made in the first two games, but no one noticed because the first two games were blowouts.
``If you compare it to the other games, it is similar,'' linebacker Brian Cushing said. ``Good tackling is part of the game.''
OK I am going to break this down, here is how it went:
dipshit carroll (heretofore referred to as "DC") to braindead Sarkisian (heretofore reffered to as "BS")
DC :"Hey Steve, how about them old days at BYU? Cougars are looking good this year...Anyway, we sure looked bad on national TV. Looks like I am blowing my chance for the college football hall of fame and actually might be in trouble here...umm..we need some spin control.."
BS: "yeah...we look pretty bad..Lou Holtz is dancing an Irish jig...we need some damage control..umm...thinking..thinking...ummm..I KNOW!! Pass it off like we knew these mistakes happened all along this year and we are aware of it..and..ummm..it's going to be fixed! Yeah! that makes us look smart!!"
DC: "GREAT ONE!! I knew BYU education was good! Get that moron LB coach in here who wears finger tape even though he doesn't play...we need a catchphrase.."
Ken Norton Jr: "you want to see me coach?"\
DC: "yeah ken, get us a snappy catchphrase that they can repeat on ESPN about how we knew our team sucked all along but we are working on it...promise I will give you a recomendation just like I did for Norm Chow, as Head coach..."
Norton: "Well Pete, I heard you didn't give him a recomendation and he was mad that you screwed him over..oh well, I have to go put more finger tape on today I only used 1 roll so far..maybe that chubby boy Ruel can help..he sure can't coach an Offensive line..OH! wait it just popped into my head : "the players this week made some of the same mistakes they made in the first two games, but no one noticed because the first two games were blowouts"
